Mike Moffitt, ChFC
It's important to choose a financial adviser who is competent and fully understands your needs and values. More importantly, you want an adviser that listens and cares. As president and founder of Cornerstone Financial Group, Mike Moffitt is registered as an Investment Adviser Representative in Iowa. Mike graduated from Creston, Iowa High School and then from Iowa State University.
With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mike has helped clients through many different financial situations. While each client and each situation is different, his training and life experience is the added value he brings to each case. Mike began his financial consulting career in 1985 with a small national financial planning and investment company headquartered in Kansas City, MO. He founded Cornerstone Financial Group in 1987.
He received his Chartered Financial Consultant designation (ChFC) through the American College in Bryn Maur, PA. He has completed courses on Fundamentals of Financial Planning, Business Taxation and Planning, Fundamentals of Estate Planning (I&II), Wealth Accumulation Planning, Decision Making at Retirement, Income Taxation, Investments, and Life Insurance.
He has also had a number of articles published on financial and estate planning topics.
Mike believes in community service and giving back to the areas where he lives and works. He was recently chosen as a member of the Leadership Iowa Class of 2010-2011. His past memberships and community activities have included:

Mike is a registered representative of National Planning Corporation (NPC), member FINRA, SIPC., a national broker dealer, and offers investment securities to the general public. Cornerstone Financial Group and NPC are separate and unrelated companies.
Judy Moffitt
Judy is FINRA Series 6 licensed. She handles basic mutual funds transactions at the direction of Mike Moffitt and also is responsible for maintaining our client contact management system, arranging for in-office reviews and scheduling. She also is the business manager for Cornerstone Financial Group, a position she has held for over 13 years.
Ginny Fett
Ginny is Cornerstone Financial Group's office manager. She prepares client reviews for Mike Moffitt, handles calendar scheduling and takes care of most back office activities. Prior to joining Cornerstone Financial in 1997, Ginny was a legal secretary in Des Moines.
Maddie Moffitt
Maddie is Cornerstone Financial Group's Client Development Specialist, and the newest member of the staff. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2009 from Iowa State University where she earned her BS in Finance and began working for the company in January 2010. She is FINRA Series 7 licensed and also licensed in the state of Iowa to sell life insurance products. Maddie also handles marketing campaigns, PR efforts, and networking opportunities for the company.
